This month’s Spring Fair will see Premier Housewares take ownership of the UK distribution of the
Contigo brand of drinks bottles.
Contigo supplies a range of stylish products for consumers of beverages on the go, and Premier is predicting that it is now poised to become a major drinks bottle brand in the UK.
The Contigo collection comprises thermal travel mugs, water bottles, kids’ cups and coffee mugs featuring patented Autoseal technology that automatically seals between sips. The products are 100% leak-proof and spill-proof and have superior insulation properties to keep hot and cold contents at the correct temperature for longer. Spring Fair will see the launch of three new collections.
Premier’s trade development director Nick Gabb commented: “Premier Housewares believes that with its account base and the new opportunities naturally open to the brand, Contigo will rapidly become a major drinks bottle brand in the UK, akin to that already established in the USA and Europe. The products are superb quality, are well designed and have many desirable characteristics. Many USA sports personalities and celebrities are avid users of the product.”
Contigo will further boost Premier’s brand portfolio, to which Tenzo, OvenLove and Zing were added in 2011.
