Praise for The Housewares Conference pours in

The event brought together a wide mix of representatives from cookshops, multiples and suppliers, who have been quick to praise everything from the speaker line-up to the venue and, from a sponsor’s viewpoint, the impressive delegate list.

For Liz and David Phillips of Steamer Trading, the conference provided “a welcome (and all too rare) opportunity for all delegates to share their experiences on an industry-wide basis”, while Guy W Cattell of Wm Morrison Supermarkets found it “a real luxury to take a day out and attend the conference. But how well my time was spent”.

“An impressive venue, good organisation, innovative ideas and inspiring presentations, plus some great new contacts for future business opportunities,” commented Richard Halliday of Dartington Crystal. And Richard Bello of Lifestyle Products found “a number of ideas relating to market and retailer trends which I have taken back to our business”.

David Gould of sponsor Dust Pic said: “This was a conference where the top buyers and executives attend and we were not disappointed.”
