The latest survey by the Shop and Display Equipment Association (SDEA) reveals that its members’ sales are on the up.

The Association reveals that 54.2% of respondents have registered an increase in sales over the last six months, compared with the same period the previous year. A further 33.3% reported that sales had remained level.
Asked to quantify the growth in sales, the companies reported increases averaging 22.6 %. Favourable results were also forecast for the next 12 months with 70.8% of those surveyed expecting sales to increase and a further 20.8% anticipating maintaining similar sales levels. The average growth in sales is expected to be 23.8%.
SDEA director Lawrence Cutler said: “These are very encouraging figures. Our survey indicates a renewed energy within the shopfittings and display market, which has been building for some time. It is a testimony to the tenacity of established retail display suppliers who have shown again and again that investment in retail interiors can bring an immediate payback.”
