Pendeford takes on sales for CAT Enterprises

Pendeford Housewares has completed a deal that will see it take over all sales, marketing, administration and distribution for CAT Enterprises.

Pendeford takes on sales for CAT Enterprises

Teresa Harrison, the widow of CAT Enterprises’ founder and managing director Charles Harrison, explained: “Following the untimely death of Charles last year we needed to restructure, and Pendeford offer all the skills to drive the business forward whilst sharing the same high levels of ethics and commitment to customer service and care.”

Pendeford managing director Ralph Humphries described the tie-up as “a perfect match”.

“We’re excited about working together,” he told HousewaresLive.net. “The microwave cookware and ironing board covers fit perfectly into our current operation because we’re supplying the same customers – who will now have one supplier and one contact point. This means a mixture of all ranges can be ordered, delivered and invoiced as one from Pendeford’s offices in Willenhall, West Midlands.”

Next month’s Exclusively Housewares show will provide the first opportunity for buyers to see CAT Enterprises’ Easy-cooK and Laundry Master ranges alongside Pendeford’s cookware, kettles and teapots. Pendeford will also be showing its new I-Bake non-stick bakeware and I-Cook induction cookware.

Pendeford says the deal with CAT Enterprises will ensure that Easy-cooK microwave cookware will continue to be made in the UK.
