Housewares Business-to-business magazine for housewares retailers and their suppliers
‘Housewares Magazine’ columnist Martha Ferguson’s much anticipated website for her independent kitchenware store Papylon went live on July 30.
Based at Winchmore Hill in North London, Papylon is a multi-award winning housewares retailer which specialises in kitchen accessories and design-led gifts. The website address is www.papylon.co.uk.
The website is divided into eight categories: Shop, What’s New, Gift Ideas, Bestsellers, Our Favourites, Blog, Our Story and Talk To Us. Gift lists, wish lists and gift vouchers are also on offer.
The ‘Our Favourites’ section includes This Week’s Top 10, 5 of the Best, 10 Dream Things We Love This Month, Our Favourite Brands, Product of the Month (currently the Chirpy range by Magpie including mugs, plates and espresso cups from £8.95) and Recipes (coming soon).
The ’10 things we love this month’ section lists flower jelly mould (£3.50), ice cream sundae glass (£3.99), Chef ‘n Stem Gem (£7.50), Microplane Citrus Zester (£19.99), Garlic Card (£3.99), Green Pan Venice pan (from £30), Joseph Joseph Elevate Carousel (£52), Sagaform Club glasses (£27.99), Vacu Vin wine cooler (£8.95) and LSA carafe (£14.99).
The site was designed by lucyswebdesigns.co.uk – a web design company run by Lucy Hall in Enfield, North London. All the imagery (with the exception of Rachel Oxley’s illustrations in the background) were designed by Martha.
Martha scooped two of the independent retail industry’s most coveted honours at the 2013 Gala Awards, organised by bira (British Independent Retailers Association). She was named The Cookshop & Housewares Association’s UK Retailer of the Year and the overall UK Young Retailer of the Year 2013.
Papylon was the gold winner of the Rising Star category of the Housewares Innovation Awards 2012, organised by www.HousewaresLive.net and Housewares Magazine, and Enfield Retailer of the Year 2011.
