The Creative Cook Shop in the south Oxfordshire town of Wantage has closed.
The business, which celebrated its second anniversary in April, started life in an 800sq ft two-storey unit in Victoria Cross Gallery, just off the Market Place in the town centre.
Co-owners Geoff Peck and Theresa Elgar moved to a new address in March at 8 Mill Street: a busy road leading into the Market Place.
But on May 4 the pair announced that “due to unforeseen personal circumstances we have regrettably decided to close our shop”.
A message on their Facebook page says: “We will continue trading for as long as it takes for us to sell our stock. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the past two years. We have made many friends and will miss you.”
