A brand new press event for the home interest sector will make its debut on Wednesday, July 8, at The Barbican Exhibition Hall in London.
Guy Burtenshaw, director of organiser Media Events, said the aim of the ‘Home Enhancement Press Event’ is to connect “house, home and related suppliers and manufacturers with the most influential journalists and media professionals from the national press and the biggest magazine titles”.
Addressing potential supplier and manufacturer exhibitors, he said: “This the best opportunity to showcase your range and to launch new products. Also, the timing allows you to feature Christmas-related products, should you wish. The only audience is writers, journalists and media professionals from the major ‘home’ magazines, as well as national and local press home feature writers, TV and radio journalists and producers, bloggers and website writers. It is the best chance to impress and meet the media.”
Media Events also organises the well-established Garden Press Event, which claims to be the only function of its kind aimed specifically for the gardening industry to showcase the latest products and stories exclusively to the key names in the garden & home press and media.
The Garden Press Event celebrates its tenth anniversary on Thursday February 12 at the Barbican Exhibition Hall in London. Guy Burtenshaw explained that “following the ongoing success of this venture, plus requests from suppliers and media professionals to set up a similar event, as well as discussions with interested parties, we decided that now is the right time to launch a home press event.”
