The Tefal ActiFry range is to receive a pre-Christmas boost from a major TV advertising campaign running from November 9-29.
The 20-second ad aims to demonstrate how ActiFry – the UK’s No 1 selling kitchen appliance, according to supplier Groupe SEB – is the healthiest and most effective way of frying. It allows you to cook oil-free chips from frozen or fresh-potato chips using just one spoonful of oil.
The ad will also show that the six-strong ActiFry range is so versatile you can cook a range of other meals such as curries and stir-fries.
The campaign will run nationally and will be broadcast on a wide range of TV channels including ITV1, C4, Five, ITV Breakfast and Mch.
Marina Wong, Groupe SEB’s product manager, electric cooking, said: “Retailers need to maximise this TV campaign at point-of-purchase.”
