From September 2014, there will be a new event running alongside Top Drawer Autumn at Olympia in London: Home, a trade show dedicated to ‘new, innovative and stylish homewares and interior accessories’.
Organiser Clarion Events said: “Home’s concept has been hugely successful in January where we now host some of the world’s most influential homeware brands, 80% of whom have chosen Home as their exclusive UK event.
“Following extensive research and hundreds of face-to-face meetings with UK and international buyers and exhibitors, findings show that a similarly stylish, dynamic London-based event in the autumn season is long overdue.”
The arrival of Home, held from September 14-16, is the first stage of our development plans for the Top Drawer band in autumn.
Clarion Events continued: “Together the two shows will have the power to attract significantly more UK and international buyers to London for the final event in the European buying season.
Top Drawer and its sister show Home will be mutually complementary and our show designers will create a specially designed new entrance for both shows between the Grand and National Hall for all visitors, drawing them into both shows and encouraging flow between the halls.”
Ian Rudge, and the team who created Home in January, are heading up this new event with input from a steering committee of leading retailers, manufacturers and press.
