New-timing Tendence gears up for August

Frankfurt’s Tendence show is promising to be the key second-half show for homewares in 2010 as it returns to its traditional time slot at the end of August.

New-timing Tendence gears up for August

Tendence moved to July in 2008 and 2009 following research indicating that the earlier timing would be preferred by exhibitors and visitors. However, a further poll persuaded the organisers to reverse the decision, and this year the show will run from August 27 to 31.

Tendence provides an opportunity to order for the autumn, winter and Christmas seasons, as well as previewing trends for the following spring and summer.

The exhibition offers two main sectors, Living and Giving, focussing on homewares, furnishing, gifts, trends and design.

Last year’s show attracted over 50,000 trade visitors from 97 countries, and 2,041 exhibitors from 63 countries.
