Housewares Business-to-business magazine for housewares retailers and their suppliers
US-based cake decorating specialist Wilton Industries has been acquired by EK Success, which supplies paper-based crafts products.
The combined company will be called Wilton Products Inc and have its headquarters in Woodridge, Illinois.
Wilton Industries, founded in 1929, offers a comprehensive selection of baking, cake decorating, candy making, cookie, wedding and seasonal products, which it sells in more than 100 countries. Its Copco division supplies tea kettles and other kitchenware. The company is also involved in the picture frame market through its Weston Gallery division.
EK Success itself was acquired last year by private equity firm GTCR Golder Rauner.
