DKB Household has announced the appointment of Simon Messent as its new director of marketing for its Cole & Mason, Ken Hom and Culinare brands.

New names and new roles at DKB

DKB Household has announced the appointment of Simon Messent as its new director of marketing for its Cole & Mason, Ken Hom and Culinare brands.
Taking on the newly-created role from July 26, Messent will work alongside director of marketing for Zyliss and Jamie Oliver, Grant Race.

Messent brings with him a wealth of experience in international brand and marketing management for a number of high-calibre brands including Britvic, Twinings, Braun and Gillette. Most recently, he was head of marketing for paint company Farrow & Ball.

Messent will be working on a number of marketing initiatives, including the re-launch of Cole & Mason as well as consolidating the position of the Culinare One Touch and Ken Hom brands.

DKB has also revised the organisation of its UK and Ireland sales team, introducing two national accounts controller positions for Louise Ayres and Seema Bhogaita. Andy Mayall is promoted to national sales manager for the UK & Ireland.
