Peter Stone has been announced as the new DIY sector director for the British Home Enhancement Trade Association.
Currently sales and marketing director with chain, rope and hardware supplier Eliza Tinsley, he will be in place at BHETA from January 2, 2010.
John Grayson, BHETA’s DIY chairman, said that Stone’s “industry connections and understanding will improve our ability to look after our DIY members well”.
Stone commented: “The DIY industry deserves the best possible trade body to represent its interests and I’ll be channelling all my energy to help deliver that along with my colleagues at Federation House.”
BHETA’s former DIY and brush sector director Andy Vaughan left the association last month and has now set up his own consultancy business.
