To celebrate its love of all things baked, Neff has created National Bake It Yourself (B.I.Y.) Day.
The B.IY. Day launches on August Bank Holiday (August 26). “We think this is a great opportunity for everyone to get together and enjoy the sweeter things in life,” said the built-in home appliances brand. “Neff is giving the nation a great excuse to get baking and sit down with their neighbours, to bring back a sense of community.”
The company has created a ‘tear and share’ bread recipe exclusively for the national day, and is encouraging its B.I.Y. community to post their own versions online. Ingredients and equipment will be listed in advance and the method will be revealed step-by-step with images, so keen B.I.Yers can bake along and then tear and share.

The kit includes customisable ‘Tear and Share’ posters which can be put up around the neighbourhood to encourage other local bakers to join in the baking bonanza and party invitations to send to foodie friends. These come with a space to include a personalised message. There is also downloadable festive Neff Bake It Yourself Day bunting.
