Navigate stays in the loop

Knitting is undergoing a resurgence at the moment, with several celebrities spotted picking up needles and yarn in between takes, from Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks to Gerri Halliwell.

Housewares supplier Navigate decided it was time to bring this creative hobby into the kitchen and has extended its Beau & Elliot range with a collection of kitchen accessories, including the aptly named ‘Chunky Knit’. It features a cable knit textured surface design in a variety of pastels, with names such as ‘heather’, ‘sky’ and ‘pebble’.

Managing director Ray Tagert said: “We’ve seen the fun that homeware designers have had in the past couple of years with knitted designs across cushions, stools, throws and any number of home accessories, so we thought it absolutely the right time to introduce this popular style to the kitchen.

“We’re incredibly pleased with the results, and the very positive feedback so far tells us we’ve tapped into exactly the right trend.”
