As plastic housewares manufacturer What More UK gets ready to exhibit at German trade show Ambiente, there’s a new face in its international sales team.
Romanian-born Mitch Enache joined Lancashire-based What More UK as its international sales manager in December 2016.
He is fluent in German, French and English –as well as his mother tongue.
Ambiente, which takes place in Frankfurt from tomorrow (Friday February 10) to and Tuesday (February 14), is an exhibition attended by housewares buyers from across Europe and beyond.
Mitch said: “I already use my language skills day-to-day in the What More office, and I’m looking forward to meeting international customers face-to-face at Ambiente.
“My colleagues have a variety of European language skills, but I’m the only Romanian speaker in the international sales team. This is proving useful, as What More aims to develop markets in Romania.”
Mitch has over 18 years’ experience in sales, in pharmaceutical and automotive businesses. He has lived and worked in the UK for the past two years.
What More UK director Tony Grimshaw OBE said: “We’re delighted to welcome Mitch into the What More family.
“We already export products to 71 different countries across the world. His language skills, coupled with his solid sales background, means Mitch can certainly help open doors to other European customers for us and help spread the word about our British-made housewares and cookware.”
What More UK produces plastic housewares under its Wham brand. The business has a portfolio of more than 700 products comprising plastic housewares, gardening and DIY products, manufactured at its 500,000sq ft purpose-built facility in Lancashire.
In 2014 the business diversified into bakeware and today produces a range of Wham Cook non-stick and vitreous enamel bakeware at its facility. What More UK also owns the multiple award-winning PushPan brand bakeware range.
