Next year’s New York International Gift Fair will present an expanded offer within its tabletop and housewares sector.
Organiser GLM says the show has attracted some 500 tabletop suppliers, many of which have booked more space and will display more new products.
Exhibitors taking larger stands in 2011 include Deborah Rhodes, with luxury table linens; Joseph Joseph, showing contemporary kitchenware; Mastrad, with silicone kitchenware; Picnic Time, showing outdoor and lifestyle products; and Reed & Barton, supplier of sterling silver and stainless steel flatware.
Several design-oriented companies also will return following an absence from the New York market. Alexandra Von Furstenberg will show modern acrylic tabletop accessories, Mane Lion, hand-painted dinnerware and accessories, and Scantrends, Scandinavian housewares, collectibles and accessories.
In addition Arbiter, which is a new wholesale division of Salt of the Earth with artisan items from Italy, and Make International, featuring design-led whiteware, will make their New York debuts within the Accent on Tabletop sector.
The show runs at the Javits Convention Center, New York, from January 29 to February 3.
