A new branch of housewares specialist Steamer Trading Cookshop is set to make its debut in mid-July.
Set in the Cornish city of Truro, the outlet measures 4,400sq ft over two floors and is in a prime location on Pydar Street, near the cathedral.
The premises is a Grade II listed building previously occupied by fashion retailer River Island. The store will include a cookery school, operating under the Divertimenti brand. In March, Steamer Trading announced the acquisition of Divertimenti, the well-established cookshop and cookery school based in London.
Steamer Trading is a family-owned business founded in 1985 by David and Liz Phillips. Headquartered in the East Sussex town of Lewes, it has 41 stores throughout the UK. The company also sells online at www.steamer.co.uk.
