Premier international chef Michel Roux Jr has linked with GreenPan to create a cookware collection.
GreenPan distributor The Cookware Company (which recently changed its name from Anotech) says it is the first time that the Michelin-starred chef has created such a product line.
Roux, who is chef patron at London’s Le Gavroche – the first UK restaurant to win three Michelin stars – was involved in the whole design of the range.
It very much puts the emphasis on the professional, according to The Cookware Company. Traditional handle styling and body shapes combine with perfect weight distribution and tri-ply stainless steel construction to maximise the cooking efficiency of each piece.
Each item carries the Michel Roux signature on the handle.
Said Roux: “I always strive for and require excellence in my kitchens. That could be the ingredients we use or the tools we use to create our dishes.”
The range will have its first official outing at June’s Exclusively Housewares.
