Michael Heppell gives free talk to GCA members

Garden Centre Association (GCA) members are invited to sign up for a free online presentation from international bestselling author, motivational speaker and success coach Michael Heppell.

Michael will be giving a talk entitled ‘Hearts and Minds for Customer Service’, which will focus on improving customer service, on November 13 at 11am.

GCA chairman Peter Burks explained: “I attended the launch of Michael’s new Hearts and Minds programme last month and found it very interesting. Attendees included leaders from a wide range of organisations, including Sainsbury’s, Virgin and BMW.

“The new programme is aimed at people who are genuinely passionate about customer service; that’s definitely us and our members. I really liked what Michael was saying so I asked him if he would present an online version of the presentation for our members.

“I’m really excited about this opportunity. I think it’s brilliant that Michael is keen to work with us and pleased that he can see we ‘get’ customer service. I think the talk will be very valuable for all our members so hope lots of people will tune in.”

The webcast, which will last for an hour, will focus on the biggest mistakes most organisations are making in their service offerings, why Michael thinks 90% of customer service training is a waste of time, and what people can do to improve their customer service.

Anyone wishing to sign up for the webinar should call the GCA office on 0118 930 8918 or email info@gca.org.uk.

The GCA represents nearly 200 garden centres nationwide.
