Housewares supplier Meyer UK has announced the promotion of Geoff Gorst to the global role of EMEA new business development director.
In his new post, Geoff will be responsible for Meyer’s business throughout Continental and Central Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, reporting directly to company chairman Paul Wright.
Geoff joined the Meyer sales team 25 years ago and has since enjoyed a successful career with the Liverpool-based company. For the past 15 years, he has headed up the sales team as UK sales director.
Taking the helm as Meyer UK’s sales director will be Mark Baumann. The move sees Mark promoted from his current role as national controller where he has overseen the company’s key national accounts for the past two years. As sales director, Mark will be responsible for the UK and Ireland.
