MasterChef judge John Torode to visit Leekes home department store

Celebrity chef John Torode will be making an appearance at Leekes’ Coventry store on Saturday November 14 from 2pm.

The co-host and judge of BBC TV series ‘MasterChef’ will provide an insight into his career while cooking a selection of dishes. He will also be showcasing favourite recipes from his new book ‘My Kind of Food,’ which will be on sale at Leekes on the day.

Julie Bowen, store manager at Leekes Coventry, said: “It’s fantastic to be welcoming such a well-known chef into the Leekes demonstration kitchen and we’re looking forward to watching him rustle up some of his favourite dishes. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy a live cookery demonstration for both aspiring and experienced cooks. We hope many of our current or potential customers will be able to join us on Saturday November 14 to discover inspirational ideas to transform mealtimes.”

As the largest ‘destination’ home department store in the Midlands, Leekes prides itself on offering everything for the home, all under one roof, at the Coventry store.
