A second series of ‘Mary Portas: Secret Shopper’ starts on Channel Four tonight (Tuesday February 24) at 8pm.
In the 60 minute show, the retail marketing consultant and broadcaster is a ‘secret shopper’ helping failing businesses and their customers too. In tonight’s episode, Mary visits Hallmark Foods, a local convenience store near Slough that’s losing money and customers, and is shocked to see how some members of staff are behaving.
In next week’s episode, Mary heads to the Suffolk seaside town of Lowestoft to work with Godfreys, a family-run department store which Channel Four says, has ‘a shocking overdraft and its future in doubt’.
