On Friday (May 31), cookery writer and TV presenter Mary Berry will be visiting London department store Harrods to sign copies of her new book.
‘The Great British Bake Off’ judge will be in-store from 12.45pm in The Gourmet Cookshop on Harrods’ second floor.
Mary has written over 80 cookery books, selling more than six million copies around the world. Her latest is ‘Mary Berry’s Cookery Course: a step-by-step masterclass in home cooking,’ which will be published by Dorling Kindersley on June 3.
Described as the ultimate kitchen companion, it aims to ‘take you from new cook to good cook or from good cook to great cook’ with recipes for soups, starters and mains, to bread, puddings and cakes.
There are 12 ‘master recipes’ such as leek and potato soup, chargrilled salmon fillets and Victoria sandwich cake with step-by-step instructions, plus more than 100 recipes with photographs of each finished dish. Mary also offers advice on ingredients and how to keep a well-stocked pantry as well as teaching kitchen techniques.
Mary will also be cooking on ITV1’s ‘This Morning’ on May 31.
