Cookery writer and TV presenter Mary Berry appeared at Cake International – The Sugarcraft, Cake Decorating & Baking Show, held at the NEC in Birmingham last weekend.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, more than 100 exhibitors offered their cake decorating and sugarcraft products at the three-day event, which wrapped up on November 10.
Visitors took part in competitions and workshops from industry experts.Other highlights included the National Cupcake Week Championship finals, Wallace and Gromit launching their BIG Bake, and popular cake authors demonstrating their favourite recipes from their bestselling books in the Author’s Kitchen.
The star of ‘The Great British Bake Off’ Mary Berry appeared alongside the Little Venice Cake Company’s Mich Turner and guest chef Paul Da Costa Greaves.
In an interview published by the show orqanisers, Mary Berry was asked: ‘What kitchen gadgets will be on your Christmas list?’ Mary’s response? “I would love Spiralizer Machine … to make vegetable spaghetti strands.”
