Management buy-out at Kitchenmonger cookshop

Kitchenmonger cookshop in Berkshire, founded by Denise Rogers in 1998, has been sold to staff member Sue Hopkins.

Sue has managed the store, which is on Hungerford high street, for the past four years. She previously worked in the company’s the head office.

Denise said: “We are delighted that Sue has acquired the company. She is really capable and is familiar with all aspects of the business, so she can really hit the ground running.”

Sue added: “I’m excited to take over Kitchenmonger which has been nurtured for so many years by Denise. I am so keen to build on the success of the shop – it is such a big part of the Hungerford and there is strong support here for local business.”
