Magpie pairs up with Peanuts for homeware range

Giftware and homeware manufacturer Magpie has collaborated with American cartoonist Charles M. Shultz’s fabulous comic strip Peanuts (which features the characters Charlie Brown and Snoopy the dog) to create a range of homewares.

Magpie said: ‘With a long-time love of Snoopy and the gang, we’re super excited to launch our collaboration with Peanuts. Using the cast of much-loved characters, including everyone’s favourite cartoon canine Snoopy, we have created a range of super cute, retro-inspired yet very current homewares.

‘The comic strips are known for producing many philosophical and meaningful phrases and these wise words and sage advice became the starting point for the design work. Taking well known Peanuts phrases such as ‘I’m allergic to mornings’ and ‘Happiness is being part of the gang’ – and combining these with Magpie’s favourite drawings of Snoopy, Woodstock, Charlie and the gang – has made the perfect collection.’

Inspired by the early 1980s merchandise for the product selection, the initial range features mugs, trays, tea towels, cut and sew kits, mirrors and even a dancing Snoopy clock. Prices range from £11 for a mug and £18 for espresso duos to £25 for mirrors.
