Lock & Lock wins best kitchenware brand at Mumii Family Awards

Housewares supplier JWP’s signature brand of food storage containers, Lock & Lock, is a gold winner in the Mumii Family Awards 2017.

The accolade was announced this week, with Lock & Lock taking top honours in the Best Kitchenware Brand category.

Mumii.co.uk is a website targeted at mothers which runs an annual awards programme designed to showcase ‘the best products and services that every family needs, wants or desires’. The awards are voted for by consumers.

Mumii.co.uk said: ‘Often imitated, never bettered, Lock & Lock is the benchmark in food storage. The diverse range, airtight patented locking system and overall quality ensures families enjoy only the freshest foods.’

Geoff Hounslea, sales and marketing director of JWP, who are the exclusive distributor for Lock & Lock, said everyone at the company was delighted to win the award, and the fact that it was voted for by consumers made it all the more special.

Addis Housewares won the silver award for being ‘experts in all things… home, laundry and cleaning, they provide a range of solutions to your everyday household needs’.

Joseph Joseph scooped the bronze award for focusing on ‘creating design-led products for the kitchen and home with a strong emphasis on form, functionality and quality’.

On the same day that the Mumii Family Awards results were announced, Geoff picked up a trophy at Lock & Lock’s European sales conference in Frankfurt for JWP having the highest sales across Europe in 2016.

JWP said Lock & Lock will play a huge role on its stand (9F60-G41) at the Spring Fair, held at the NEC in Birmingham from February 5 to February 9.

Established ranges, such as the one voted for in the Mumii Family Awards, will rub shoulders with brand new products, such as ‘Clearly Lock & Lock’, which will be launched especially for the Spring Fair audience.
