Lékué entertains at L’atelier des Chefs

A consumer press evening for 20 journalists was held on June 14 at London cookery school and events venue L’atelier des Chefs for the Lékué brand, exclusively distributed by JWP in the UK and Ireland.
The evening was split into the two themes of the main product areas of Lékué.

The first part was devoted to ‘Healthy Eating’ and was hosted by Harley Street nutritionist Suné Markowitz-Shulman. Suné demonstrated a variety of techniques using items from the Lékué range. These included steaming fish and vegetables in the oven and microwave with a Steam Case, and piping ricotta gnocchi via the Decomax, also cooked in a Steam Case.

The second part was ‘Time for Baking’ hosted by Edd Kimber, the first winner of BBC2 series The Great British Bake Off. Edd prepared muffins, a cheesecake and his signature macaroons by making use of the Lékué Macaroon Kit.

Journalists were treated to a three-course meal cooked by Suné and Edd. Guests included representatives from Good Food, Delicious, Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Olive, Zest, The Daily Mail and Elle Decoration.

The evening was attended by JWP marketing manager and sales manager Adam Wilkinson and Ben Wadeson and, from Lékué, the managing director Xavier Costa and Mireia – a member of the design team.

Adam Wilkinson said: “JWP anticipates a strong rise in our consumer PR activity for Lékué from the positive responses and comments of those attending this event.”
