The company will donate £1.25 on average from the sale of each of its Strawberry Tea collection items to the charity, and has pledged to raise a minimum of £20,000.

As an ambassador for Breast Cancer Care, Olympic gold medallist Denise Lewis – whose grandmother suffered from breast cancer – was at the launch of the charity’s partnership with Le Creuset, which she thanked for its support.

“Breast Cancer Care can’t continue their wonderful work without the help, support and dedication of companies like Le Creuset,” she said.

The Strawberry Tea limited edition collection consists of 10 rose-coloured stoneware baking and serving items, and is available now.
