Launching The Housewares Conference and Innovation Awards: be there!

HousewaresLive.net and Housewares Magazine have announced the 2012 launch of a major new event tailored exclusively for the housewares industry: The Housewares Conference and Innovation Awards.

Launching The Housewares Conference and Innovation Awards: be there!

It will combine the very best elements of our successful Product of the Year Awards and Britain’s Best Retailer Awards with The Housewares Conference to produce a single, one-day, unmissable experience.

With every element created specifically for housewares retailer and supplier professionals, the event guarantees to deliver finely-targeted content that is both richly informative and inspirational.

The new Innovation Awards programme will honour the country’s top housewares retailers, and reveal which recently-launched housewares products have been judged the best across a range of categories.

Our conference will present a speaker line-up of leading names from within, or closely associated with, our industry, which to date comprises the internationally-acclaimed Michelin-starred chef Heston Blumenthal; Paul Grierson, business development manager for new formats with John Lewis Partnership; Dexam managing director Roger Morgan-Grenville; Carol Paris, operations director with Garden & Leisure Group; and David Eggison, managing director of the Colanders cookshop and ecommerce business.

We are also delighted to have as our conference chair Pam Plant, who, amongst many other achievements during her 25 years in the housewares industry, was behind the launch of the Exclusively Housewares show.

To launch what is certain to be the most talked-about new event in 2012 we have chosen a suitably magnificent venue, Heythrop Park – an historic country house set in 440 acres of Oxfordshire parkland. Heythrop Park is easily accessible and the event will take place during normal working hours so that hotel costs can be avoided – but the venue does provide reasonably-priced overnight accommodation if required.

The date of the inaugural Housewares Conference and Innovation Awards is Tuesday, March 27 2012, and you can book your place now or learn more about the event at www.housewaresconference.net.
