Places are still available for the 2014 Karting Challenge, run by industry charity, the Rainy Day Trust.
This year’s event is on Sunday June 1 at the TeamSport track at Warrington in Cheshire: the largest purpose-built indoor karting track in the UK.
Challenge organiser David Hibbert of Stax Trade Centres reports that the 2014 event is again well supported, but that there’s always room for an extra team. The entry fee for a team of three drivers is £349 + VAT. The event has a 100% safety record – and helmets and race suits are supplied. An electronic timing system with LCD screens helps you keep on top of the positions as the day progresses; and every driver gets a digital track timesheet to take home.
David Hibbert said that over the past 20 years, the Karting Challenge “has provided a fun day out for hundreds of people in the home improvement industry. It’s also an excellent networking opportunity – and it raises thousands of pounds for the Rainy Day Trust.” There is a bar, and catering and food are available at the Chequered Flag Café.
