Lancashire cookshop The Cook’s Emporium is to open a second shop that will specialise in tabletop.

Dine at Home will be directly opposite the Ramsbottom cookshop, and is set to open for business in mid-March.
Sara Wilkins, a partner in The Cook’s Emporium along with her parents Roger and Stef, told HousewaresLive.net that they had taken the three-year lease on the new premises “because I couldn’t do what I wanted to do in the Cook’s Emporium.
“The shop is smaller than the cookshop’s and on one level only, but I didn’t want a huge space,” she said.
In terms of tabletop, the cookshop sells only a small amount of terracotta oven-to-tableware. The new shop will extend the offer to tableware, glassware, cutlery and linens.
“It’s everything that doesn’t involve cooking,” said Wilkins.
Key brands include Denby, Fairmont & Main, Villeroy & Boch and Roy Kirkham, “who have all been very enthusiastic and exceptionally helpful”.
Wilkins added that a new full-time employee has already been recruited to run Dine at Home.
