Lakeland is set to open a shop in the Intu Lakeside shopping centre in Essex.
The specialist housewares chain will open a 5,000sq ft shop near House of Fraser in the autumn.
Izzie Peskett, Lakeside’s marketing manager, said: “Lakeland has a very loyal customer base who love to shop. This highly popular brand is regularly requested as a must-have brand in customer surveys, so we know they will hit the ground running at intu Lakeside and we can’t wait to welcome them to the mix.”
Lakeland’s marketing director Tony Preedy added: “Lakeland continues to go from strength to strength. We’ve had many, many requests from our customers to open a store at intu Lakeside, and we’re delighted that this year we will finally be able to do so, in time for Christmas 2013.”
