Monday saw the opening of Lakeland’s latest store, in Stratford-on-Avon.
The new branch, almost 6,000sq ft in size and in former Argos premises, has a new look which has cost around 30% less to create than the pilot store launched earlier this year in Durham.
The format is now likely to be rolled out across the retailer’s other branches during the year ahead.
Meanwhile, a programme of store refurbishments is taking place. The Tunbridge Wells store will be shutting between August 3 and October 19 for a major overhaul and the installation of two lifts.
