Lakeland celebrates 50 years

The 68-strong specialist retailer said: “We won’t turn 50 every year, so we wanted to mark our anniversary with something really special. Although we love to receive presents, it is our customers who have helped us get to where we are today, so what better way to celebrate than letting them share in our big birthday celebrations. As a ‘thank-you’ to all the valued customers who have contributed to the success and growth of Lakeland, we’re offering some fabulous prizes in our 50th Anniversary GiveAway.”

The Giveaway is a weekly free prize draw, which kicked off in mid-June and runs up to Christmas. In the first week, first prize was a one day cookery lesson with Michel Roux Jr. Second prize was a place on the ‘Cooking the Roux Way Experience’: a one day cookery lesson with one of Michel’s head chefs, plus a personally signed copy of his ‘The French Kitchen’ book. Third prize was a place on the ‘Knife Skills – The Roux Way’ course and a Michel Roux Jr Global Usuba Knife.
