Edward Margetts has taken over from his father John as managing director of Kuhn Rikon UK.
Edward, 32, joins the company from Rehau, a leading German polymer manufacturer, where he headed their sales division for industrial products.
“My objective is to accelerate the growth and development of the company and to bring to market the numerous new products being generated by our design teams”, Edward said of his appointment.
“His success in sales and marketing will add a vital element to our expansion programme,” added John.
Passing the business from one generation to the next mirrors the culture within the Swiss business, which remains in the hands of the Kuhn family.
John Margetts, who founded the UK business in 1980, remains a director of the company.
