Kuhn Rikon makes it into New York's MoMA store

Known for its extraordinary exhibitions and collection of modern and contemporary art, in 1932 MoMA was the first art museum to establish a curatorial department dedicated to Architecture & Design.

As an extension of the Museum’s educational mission, MoMA says its MoMA Design Store ‘exemplifies good design with a well-edited selection of products highlighting the latest in materials, production, and design concepts from around the world’, offering ‘innovative, fun and functional gifts, personal accessories, and home items intended to improve everyday living’.

MoMA’s housewares range includes tabletop and kitchen accessories. Kuhn Rikon’s Citrus Tool and Stainless Steel Handle Safety Lid Lifter have now joined the offer.
Kuhn Rikon managing director Edward Margetts said the news was “a fantastic endorsement for good design”.
