Klean Kanteen flask wins ISPO award

Klean Kanteen’s line of reusable and plastic-free TKPro flasks has won a prestigious ISPO award.

Billed as the world’s largest international trade fair for sports business, ISPO Munich was held from February 3 to February 6 at the Munich Trade Fair Center.

Around 80,000 visitors attended the event, which set a new record with 2,943 exhibitors presenting their latest sports products from segments such as Snowsports, Outdoor, Health & Fitness, Urban and Teamsports.

The TKPro (750ml) flasks, which feature an integrated 360-pour-through design, scooped a prize in the Outdoor Category, after being selected from 456 submitted products.

A panel of 43 judges from 12 countries considered shortlisted products on a range of factors including performance, innovation, sustainability, functionality and the ability to respond to consumer demands.

Garry Woodhouse, sales and marketing director at Whitby & Co – the exclusive distributor of Klean Kanteen in the UK – said: “This award is a fantastic achievement that sums up another successful year for Klean Kanteen. We have new projects on the horizon, more happy customers and now we are proud winners of the ISPO Award. We have a lot to celebrate!”

He added: “The consumption of single-use plastics continues to have a devastating impact on our environment. As a result, customers are increasingly seeking sustainable solutions. Klean Kanteen has been fighting against plastic pollution since 2004 and this award is testament to Klean Kanteen’s investment in developing sustainable products for customers across the world.”
