Kirstie Allsopp has announced the launch of her latest crafting kits, which will be available exclusively available in-store and online at craft retailer Hobbycraft next month.
‘The Queen of Craft’ initially launched her range at Hobbycraft in 2014 and it has continued to develop, as the crafting trend sees no signs of slowing down.
The TV presenter, best known for her onscreen partnership with Phil Spencer co-presenting Channel 4 property shows, said: “Crafting continues to grow in popularity and it’s great to be able to launch another selection of kits alongside the existing range. Whether it’s an expert crafter wanting to try something new, or people having a go at making something from scratch for a special occasion or gift, there’s something for everyone.”
Examples of the kits, which contain step-to-step guides, include:
-Beeswax Soap Making Kit (£15) for making handcrafted soap. It includes a soap base, beeswax pellets, honey and vanilla scent and a silicone mould.
-Soy Candle & Melts Kit (£15) which includes soy wax flakes, melt tartlet cases, pre-waxed wick and camomile candle scent.
-Silk Painting Kit (£15) which includes a silk cloth, a silk cushion cover, silk paints, waterbase silk painting gutta, paint palette, brushes, rock salt and a bamboo embroidery hoop.
