Kenwood is launching a UK-wide competition to find the country’s most hopeless home cooks.

Kenwood seeks the country's worst cooks

The competition aims to transform participants’ culinary skills before crowning the most improved cook the Kenwood Chef of 2012. The winner will walk away with a host of prizes worth over £4,000.

The campaign is supported by a six-figure marketing spend including PR, advertorials in women’s magazines and a dedicated online section on the newly-revamped Kenwood website, launched this month. The campaign is being spearheaded by Silent Witness actress and self-confessed disaster chef Emilia Fox.

The competition opened this week, and flailing cooks have until June 29 to enter on the Kenwood website.
