Designer Katie Alice will be paying a visit to the Spring Fair.
She will be on the Creative Tops stand (Hall 9 stand G10-H11) on Monday February 2 and Tuesday February 3 from 4-5pm, launching a new collection of tableware and home accessories from the Katie Alice Core Collection, in a subtle colour palette alongside the new Rustic Lace terracotta dinnerware. Each piece of terracotta dinnerware features a delicate lace pattern and is finished with a white glaze.
Katie says: “I’ve always loved the effect of seeing a darker base colour come through a pattern when you use a fresh white glaze, so the opportunity to use embossed terracotta was quite exciting and I think it translates really well onto the new white dinnerware and home décor pieces for this collection.”
Further new additions to The Katie Alice Core Collection are vintage-inspired photo frames in retro shades of cream, pink and grey.
Katie is a self-taught designer who has created more than 10 ranges in the past four years for the Katie Alice brand. She combines her passion for vintage finds with the love of the English country garden to create tableware and accessories for the housewares supplier.
Alongside that, Katie has styled summerhouses at the Chelsea Flower Show, and the last September national newspaper The Telegraph named her as a future star of the interior world.
The Spring Fair will be held at the NEC in Birmingham from February 1 to February 5 (the volume sector opens on January 31).
