John Lewis has added to its growing list of accolades by being recognised as top for customer service in a new survey.
The department store company scored 90.9% in the UK Customer Satisfaction Index, based on a sample of 25,000 adults surveyed online in recent weeks. It is the first time an organisation has achieved more than 90%.
Sister company Waitrose was the top-ranking supermarket, in third place.
John Lewis managing director Andy Street described the results as “really rewarding. We’re making every effort to constantly improve the customer experience in our branches and will keep our focus on delivering inspiring products, great value and differentiated service.”
The last couple of years have seen the John Lewis Partnership win a raft of consumer awards.
