John Lewis seeks staff for new Oxford store

John Lewis is recruiting staff for around 300 new jobs at its first ever store in Oxford, which opens in four months.

The 120,000sq ft outlet, which represents an £18m investment in the Oxfordshire city by the retailer, will launch alongside other shops at the £440 million Westgate Oxford development on October 24.

The department store group is looking to fill full-time and part-time posts from sales and services assistants to visual merchandisers and customer support staff.

John Lewis operates 48 shops across the UK: 34 department stores, 12 John Lewis ‘at home’ stores and shops at St Pancras International and Heathrow Terminal 2.
