1815 Bold is the name of a new collection from tabletop company Royal Doulton, exclusive to John Lewis & Partners.
The department store group said: ‘This selection of timeless, modern shapes features two design combinations of hand-dipped glazes and brushstrokes in three on-trend colours – aqua, lilac and red – that contrast with a classic white porcelain base to create a vibrant collection.
‘With the trend for casual dining on the rise, sharing plates and tapas style dishes are becoming increasingly popular. This relaxed range of tableware, which includes dinner plates, side plates and bowls, is designed to make serving and sharing meals a true pleasure.
‘The 1815 Bold collection of stylish pieces brings the best of the past into the present with the look and feel of traditional handcrafted ceramics in a tactile finish that is both authentic and contemporary.

The Royal Doulton 1815 Bold collection features plates, bowls, mugs and espresso cups in a combination of three on-trend colours, in addition to a complete aqua coloured set.
