In one week, on Tuesday November 26, staff at John Lewis’ Kingston branch will celebrate the completion of the department store’s £7million refurbishment with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9am.
The retailer says the five-month project has “transformed the shopping environment for Kingston customers,” creating an additional 7,000sq ft of ground floor selling space.
The revamp has allowed for the expansion of several departments including beauty, fashion accessories and gifting.
Richard Marks, head of branch, John Lewis Kingston said: “The refurbishment has totally transformed our ground floor and we are delighted to be able to offer Kingston shoppers the latest design concepts and brands.
“We are sure our customers will agree that the floor looks amazing and we are looking forward to a spectacular Christmas in Kingston.”
