New for 2018, Poolside is the latest high summer trend from John Lewis.
The department store group said: ‘A follow on from last season’s Palm Springs edit, Poolside creates a laid-back aesthetic for indoor and outdoor spaces with practical and playful pieces across furniture, textiles and tableware.
‘Designed in-house with a nod to mid-century design, using LA as a backdrop for inspiration, the collection combines vibrant colour palettes, statement geometric and graphic prints and hand-painted tableware for a bright summer look’.
John Lewis Designer for Home Amie Jones said: “For this collection we looked to build on the time when Hollywood stars lounged by the pools of their landlocked homes. The open plan, light and colourful architecture of the mid-century era had a big impact on Poolside’s designs and illustrations.”
The Poolside edit consists of many HOUSE by John Lewis pieces, suitable for smaller spaces and designed to be at the heart of a contemporary home.
