Christmas may be three months away but John Lewis is already making preparations for the festive season.
In a reference to Stir up Sunday, the multiple retailer is advising consumers to “make sure you have your lucky sixpence at the ready on November 23 – as well as these baking essentials”. Stir up Sunday is traditionally the time when families gather in the kitchen to take a turn at stirring the Christmas pudding, while making a wish. The pudding is made a month before Christmas Day.
