Denby has announced that John Debono is working for the housewares company as consultant senior vice president Asia to aid its business development in the region.
John has extensive global experience in luxury goods including tableware, homeware, jewellery and fine leathers.
He has spent nearly 20 years of his career living and working in Asia, including many years as managing director of Royal Doulton’s Asia Pacific operation.
From this month, John will be responsible for developing both new and existing markets in Asia Pacific, including travel retail, for both Denby and Burleigh brands.
Based in New York, John will also be using his North American experience to help Denby USA develop new growth distribution opportunities.
