Established in 1952, Jeray Sales is a leading specialist supplier of professional quality home bar and drinking accessories. With offices in the UK and Far East, Jeray Sales (home market) and Original Products (export market) is a family business that supplies both independents and major retail groups.
Jeray Sales managing director Paul Spencer commented: “We are delighted to be awarded the Queen’s Award for International Trade thanks to the rapid growth of our export sales of drink accessories over the last three years.
“We’ve had a lot of encouragement and support from BHETA (British Home Enhancement Trade Association) and DIT (Department for International Trade) in that period, which has helped us explore new overseas markets from America to Asia – and Europe in particular.
“It’s really gratifying that our home bar product selections have been appreciated by so many diverse markets overseas. If we have one thing in common it’s that we all enjoy a drink, so perhaps it’s no surprise our current best seller is a glass globe decanter!
“Despite the uncertainties around the world, we’ve only had optimistic feedback from our various retailers abroad and barely any concern about continuity of supply after Brexit. My Italian compatriots always tell me how their businesses have survived despite the vagaries of their governments over many years, and I’m confident the British entrepreneurial spirit will see us through too!”
